Your post is an example of why Delta pilots get concerned when ever support for scope is conspicuous by its absence. Sure, we can all agree more pay would be nice. We disagree as to what should be negotiated to secure more pay. More often than not, scope sales have come as a thief in the night, negotiated in secret and put to our pilot group as a deal we have to accept. There is a track record of pilots' jobs and job progression being traded for other pilots' retirement. It has happened before.

As for an objective reason to suspect this leadership team, there are already examples in past conduct.
