Reading the posts in this like other forums I noticed there are some "miths" that need to be weeded out.
The first that comes in my mind is: "airline crews see the World around".
This is not true, or at least misguiding.
From your cockpit you really can see the world or most of it, but thats it.
With the airline you will fly in a lot of fancy cities around the world but very unlikely you will have chance to visit something more than the hotel were you slept

. You can have 80 different countries visas stamped in your passport with 1 day or 2 of stay and sometimes just transit.
For sure you will experiment the biggest jet lag a human can have.
Having said that IMO its beautiful to watch the world passing by the cockpit

Did I tell you about the "per diem"?
well its latin and means "the money I give you to buy a cheesburger".
Other "miths" to be wiped out?
