I just started IOE on Monday.... and let me tell you this- when that cockpit door closes for the first, it's the most lonely feeling in the world.
I kinda looked at my instructor and said "Holy bedsheets, Batman- this isn't FlightSafety!" as all my knowledge of flows, limitations and systems proceeded to bleed out of my right ear, out the DV window and onto the ramp.
That first takeoff is pretty intimidating. But it just keeps getting more and more fun after that. I really can't wait to fly the brazilian burrito again!!!! dangit, scheduling, CALL ALREADY!!!!
