honestly I was not replying to your post - only to justify a UAL furloughee working there. the "you" was collective in that one must look to their own reasons for going to GJ.
iow it was an indefinite 2nd person - a colloquial use that would have been redlined in English composition. I should have used the third person "one" to avoid confusion.
