I didn't ask if the captain was PIC the entire time. I asked if a typed SIC could be PIC when flying the leg. Part 121 has different rules that I am unaware of. I don't really know why UND would be wasting their time teaching 121 regs. It will only be a few years before you're ready to be there. That's if you didn't go 135....
Lets see if we can work this out with just good ol' part 91... You have to be rated in the aircraft to log PIC, correct? You need a type rating to act as PIC in a turbojet powered aircraft, correct? If you have an SIC type, how would that make you qualified to act as the PIC? Seems like basic regs 101 to me...
