No, that can't be, the American people are all just a bunch of simpletons, and elections only come down to who has the most money. That must be exactly what our Four Fathers wanted, a country where an election can be bought.
Now that my little daily bout of sarcasm is over with, here's how I really feel. Both sides of the aisle have over-excessive undue financial influence, but at the end of the day it still comes down to our ability to vote responsibly as Americans.
There was a time when the Government feared its' citizens, but we have strayed to a point where our citizens fear its' government.
Even the back and forth partisan bickering on this board is a testament to there success down in Washington.
While we fight amongst ourselves, we are distracted by the true corruption that creeps in and pulls the rug right out from under us, all while pointing the finger at one another.
Not trying to attack or make light of your comments, but the article you posted tends to elude to some level of unfairness. I will not defend it or fight it, but either way it doesn't change the fact that the corruption in Washington is destroying our Great Country at a ten-fold rate than the corruption Wall Street.
I'd expect it from Wall Street, but not from our "Selfless Elected Government Officials".
(I guess I had a little sarcasm left)
