Post-tax that's more like $20K. And that's not including his international flying either which probably includes 2-3 pairs of additional round trips plus 10-15 pairs of domestic tix. Yes it's standby, but if you have ANY bit of flexibility, it's very easy to fly Business Elite or get a seat domestically.
