I agree. Seems like a trend to develop the runner up in one of our 2-design competition. Ever seen the pictures of the YA-9 that was in competition with the A-10 design? Pretty close to a SU-25 Frogfoot.
And it remains a conundrum for me: What do you call more than one Su-25? Frogfeet? Frogfoots?
I know, you'll say "Targets."
