Don't get me wrong, I am in no way condoning what he did, but I wasn't there, neither were you. I thought to get just 1 life sentence you had to kill someone...? But 3x life? What's the point of that? Did he kill his whole family?

And if he's never going to get out, why bother feeding him for the next 75 (?) years, at about $30,000 per year? Why not just put him to death now and save us all a bunch of money?
