LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The president of UPS Airlines is stepping down after 36 years with the company.
UPS announces that Robert L. "Bob" Lekites is retiring and that UPS Air Group operations Vice President Mitch Nichols will replace him.
Lekites started with the company as a delivery driver in 1974 and rose to lead the company's airline operations and its international air hub in Louisville.
