Every single FedEx pilot that I know and have meet over the years claims to never fly nights. They all fly day only. Yeah,,,,,,,Right And look how quick they are to get super defensive when you bring up the topic. It's kind of like being rich. Most people who are truly rich don't talk or brag about it. Those that do find it necessary to boast and brag about things usually truly lack it deep down.

I didn't say I never fly nights at all. I said I haven't flown a week of hub turns in years. In fact I had a night leg this week followed by a 24hr layover and then day duty periods. The way I bid, I would guess about 10-20% of my yearly flights are night flights. As I get more senior, that will drop eventually to zero. Yes we do have pure day lines at FDX. It's not a
conspiracy of all FDX pilots to mislead the industry on duty periods....
