You are correct about the growth of SWA over the past 2 years...Yep, pretty anemic...but -
What has the average growth of SWA been? Pretty good..Y'all paid for training and worked much harder for less. How many pilots has SWA furloughed? How many times have SWA pilots voted to strike? Never. Y'all let the rest of the industry do the work and rode our coattails.. Here are some questions for you. Just sayin...
Bottom line is from y'alls enception y'alls pay and benefits were at best equivalent to a widebody Fos at a legacy. Y'all were better than the regionals and most nonskeds. By default (orchestrated ch.11s) you find yourselves at the top and think it is because of something that you have done. Up until the last 5 years swa has not been considered by most to be anything other than 4-5th choice unless someone had the burning desire to live in one of your bases. Sure it was known as a quirky, fun party place but that was about it. I think y'all need to get over yourselves, come back to earth. Just sayin.....
