Add to that FICA and Medicare taxes which are percentages of wages. Most of us are maxed out on FICA but maybe not forever.
I am sure there are several added costs items I missed. I just picked a sample off the top of my head. I always hear the I am paid this much per hour so it costs this much per ticket, flight hour, flight ect... The hourly pay number is probably less then half the cost to put a pilot in the cockpit.
