Any "promise" without being in writing ain't worth doodly-squat. Any job with PIC turbine or the clear (seniority or contract based) opportunity to do so is worth it. If you can get on with a regional, that would be a better choice in my opinion. You are close to hiring minimums and they are hiring now. If you go to this freight outfit you may be looking for another job in three years to find hiring has stopped again, and you will be in a worse position than you are now since you have no recency of flight and no opportunities. I'm speaking from experience here..

There is no crystal ball, and you won't know whether you have made the right choice until you collect your last retirement check.
