I'm in the process of filling out the application that was e-mailed to me by HR. It asks if I have a First Class medical within the last six months. I'm under 40, so I can go every year. How should I mark that box? Should I go get another medical before the interview? Thanks.
No, you don't need to get another medical. I was in the same situation. I was 8 months into my 1st class medical. I still checked the box to indicate I was 1st class current, and when I turned in the form at the interview I mentioned it and they had no problem with it at all.
