I started on the 3rd and they required business casual... half way through the second week they changed the policy. You can now wear jeans but they still want to see a collared shirt.
Instructors are great! They told us that they're planning to hire 32/month indefinitely. Great news! We still haven't been officially assigned to a base yet, but we've been told to expect ORD. Lots of rumors going around about a DEN base opening. The CAL arbitration threw everything for a loop and a lot of details seem to be up in the air.

Fairly certain you CANNOT jumpseat until you have taken your PC, so be careful with that. At least that is how it was in 2007 when I was hired but maybe things are different now. You really are not a crew member until you have completed your training. Good luck and PM with questions.
