Does anybody know the latest situation at USA Jet? - The "contact us" section of their website has a "career oppertunities" pdf but the download fails. There's a generic applications email (
[email protected]) but please could someone tell if this applies to pilots? Pilotjobsnews.com is reporting that they'll be hiring 12 pilots over the next 3 months, I'm wondering if anyone has an informed view on how accurate that is and what the current minimums are (none are listed on their website)?

I recently started at USA Jet and about 1 month to the day later I left. PM me if you would like to know what's going on there. I will tell you that the 13 hard days off is not happening right now. They are short staffed, because new-hires like myself are leaving and airlines are calling back their furloughed guys. They will give you a few hundred dollars in return for awarding you a line with 9 or 10 days off.
They want prior part 121 time, or turbine time. Soon they will have to be flexible with their mins/pay because the airlines are starting to hire again.
A good number of their current pilots are furloughed from the airlines, so between that and the new rest requirements as well as deletion of part 121 supplemental in August will have them trying to hire quit a few guys.
