Once upon a time, we had something called Variable Minimum, and I'm pretty sure we got no less than six hours per day. I can't even explain it offhand. Does anyone have the old rigs for C2K in digital format to post here?
The duty rigs at NW were about the same as Delta. We had 5:15 average per duty period and NW had a 4:15 minimum per period. Both airlines had 1 for 2 if I recall. Not sure if NW had the 1 for 1.75 on night ops. Delta had 1 for 3.5 trip rig and NW had a 1 for 3.75. That change has been big on the long international trips. 12 day trips now pay what 13 day trips paid. It also helps on all the 4 day winter international trips.
