Even as a very senior captain on the 744/777 at Delta, and even with overrides and check airman pay and and other soft money, you'd have to credit what, 200+ hours in a month to get there?
It's called a greenslip...... When I flew with the first guy I was amazed but then I personally flew with 2 more that were over the $50K mark.
