FCIF = Flight Crew Information Files. Basically an official email from management to the crew force pertaining to a/c procedures, hotel changes, admin issues, numerous other types ... in this (admin) case it pertains to the upcoming "Pilot Selection Process."

From memory ...

- A new online pilot recommendation form for existing pilots to recommend ONLY ONE person at a time. We'll be responsible for mentoring said new employee from the end of IOE through the end of the probationary year.

- No more "Meet-n-Greets."

- Internal recommendation NOT required.

- If rejected, can reapply aft a year.

- Something about "Mr. Murphy." Not sure what that was about
