It may be a small thing until YOU are the one that needs it....then all of a sudden it can be a big thing.
I too was one of the 95% for 25 yrs until I had foot surgery with a 6 month recovery period than it does become a big deal. Sure wish I had my 1300 hrs of sick leave back.
