Cass = Yes. I believe on everyone except Comair. My understanding is that the DO at Comair hasn't approved it for some reason.
Interline agreements = None. No travel bennies.
QOL = It's what you make of it. 25 minute call-out. On call 24 hours of each day that you are scheduled ON. Scheduling can be good to you if you are flexible to them when they need you to be. If they ask you to give up a day off and you say no, they will remember that when you want an extra one. Until part 121 Supplemental goes away, the company can and will put you at rest for a 3 or 4 hours while on the road, have you fly for 5 hours and then rest for 4 more to give you 8 total hours of rest in a 24 hour period. (I still don't see how that is legal) Your 1 off in a 7 day period will often be given to you while sitting in a hotel in Laredo TX.
Health benefits after 90 days
No Union = No commuter clause. You have to at least have a crashpad near Willow Run. Ann Arbor is too far to make the 25 minute callout, so you are pretty much stuck to Belleville and Ypsilanti.
They say 13 hard days off per month. This is during normal business when the company is not short staffed. As of right now about 60-70% of the DC9 FO schedules have 9 or 10 days off per month. In return for less days off they will give you 300-700.00 per the month for less days off. Not an option however, if your seniority gets a line with 9 days off, then that is what you get.
Just because you interview for a DC9 FO spot, doesn't mean you will get it. They have called guys to offer them a job in the Falcon 20.
