In the first half of your comment you say that because there is a lot of flying in and out of ATL, there will be a base there which will save DAL money yet at the end you say just because the 320 does a lot of flying in NYC, there isn't any talk of a base there because it is not efficient. This appears to be some very good double talk. Are you working on your campaign for a position in congress or DALPA?

Many of the rotations have a DH, fly to a city then in to the ATL network or have ATL layos.
I prefer to keep the airplanes where they are, but it is not my call!
Just telling you what the CPO's and leaders are stating as the reason for the moved in the base visiting.
I looked at the rotations, and yeah there are a lot of ATL layo, some DH's and a lot of ATL flying. I would submit that there is more of that in these airplanes than the MD88 or 73N NYC.
