However, the soft money (that we see and can figure out) makes up for it. We make more $$$ in our paycheck (for the same work) while the company gets to say, "what big pay raises?" and point to our $/hr rates.
Your concept might have some merit. But I immediately "dogpiled" you for suggesting that a 20% increase right off the bat would be anything other than laughable.
