It's a signing bonus, but not a significant one from what I'm hearing. I view this a a good deal, and way better than no deal for another two years. Thanks to the Negotiating Folks and the rest of FedEx ALPA for giving us something much quicker than we all expected! The alternative is no improvements for who knows how long. I prefer something now with more to follow in the not too distant future.
