3585: You're kidding right? Oh, no you're not... has anyone EVER used that stupid rule EVER? (except on a 121/135 GS exam or Oral?)
Knowing the rest and duty has saved me Crew Scheduling's whims on a number of occasions. You will be the enforcer of FARs at RAH, not scheduling!
As for 3585, I have used it about two dozen times on the line. The problem is dispatch nearly always screws it up., so you need to know it. A RAH pilot is basically responsible for running the whole freaking airline legally. If you want to keep your certificate, know the rules, because the fools and the schemers on the other end of the phone will inevitably put you in a bad spot.
