Flying heavy planes for $50/hr FO and 100/hr CA is wrong. Years ago at interviews they said they knew the pay was low but it was just about to be fixed. Obviously it never was. What has changed from then to now?
I've met some of the pilots and they were good people, but for crying out loud it's 2011 and that pay won't allow for any kind existence. Particularly for what Omni does.
the new contract will increase the pay rate - how much? we will have to wait until the contract is signed but rumor has it that there will be a difference of pay rate between the 777/DC10 and 767/757 like at most other airlines -
