I heard its actually much worse than what they depict on Deadliest Catch from former crabbers who did it in the 80s and 90s. Folks smoking meth to stay awake for the long hours, physical altercations etc. During a ban, a bunch of people went over to Russia and they said it was even scarier, such as people getting thrown off the boat if they became a problem.
