I have run before on the road that goes around the airport (perimeter??). Specifically from the Drury inn right across from Flight Safety down towards the cargo ramp and Mercury FBO. It seemed safe enough during the day, but there is little traffic, so it could be a good place for an oppurtune attack if the attacker thought it through. That whole area seems kinda dumpy unfortunately. I would definitely not have wanted to run that same route after the sun went down.
