Third hand info, but apparently RA mentioned last week while traveling that we are going to slow/stop aircraft basing changes because of the excess cost to all the training. Just passing on info I was told.
At the Memphis base meeting they said they didn't see any fleets changing bases in the near future. They wanted to wait and see before jumping. They mentioned that when they opened and then had to close the NY 777 base right away they had lost more money then the snow storm.
Who knows though.
