No...when I was hired, I had applicants with me that had checkride failures and even a DUI. They were hired. DAL is hiring future CA's and is mostly focused on the stuff beyond flying the aircraft. The biggest thing you need is an internal recommendation, somebody who can get your app "on top of the stack." Good luck!
