Seriously, use that money to rent a twin to build some twin time. Even if it is an expensive twin around 225/hr and you dont split it, you'll still be getting 25 hours. Split it and you'll have 50 hours. If you already have 50, that will put you at 100. 100 hours of multi is more likely to land you an airline job than 50 with a 737 SIC Type rating. Any airline that uses 737s will want some substantial time in the PIC Turbine time category. Therefore, if you are going airlines chances are you are going through the regionals. Get the multi time. Most people are getting hired right at 100 hours (102, 103, 101, 115 are hours Ive seen on these boards).
