Try something substantial like "I will talk with our people at GoJet and see that we resolve this". It seems to me that chances of you needing a ride on another companies airplane is lot better than me needing a ride on yours.
All I know is what I was told, maybe I blew it on a technicallity with what seat it was, jumpseat, 12A or the crapper. Doesn't much matter does it.
Your guy pulls my guy because someone else pulled him. Sounds like the start of a long commute. I am not saying it was right of the US air guy but you get what you settle for, one stab in the back deserves another.
