Yes Of course I would feel bad. I don't pack my suitcase very heavy, the problem is any bag that will not fall apart in 3 months has the steel frame so it is heavy before you even put anything in it.
No metal frame and I've had the same bag for 7 years (commuter for 5 out of the 7)and it still looks and functions great.
It's a Pathfinder brand, also was sold as a "Costco" branded bag that many people have purchased. The unfortunate part is that the company went out of business so they are hard to find.
