Dot # 1:
The new 747-8 Intercontinental, sporting a new red, white, and orange livery, is roughly 18 feet longer than its predecessor, the 747-400, and its wingspan stretches more than 224 feet. It’s scheduled to make its first flight in March, according to The Wall Street Journal.
It is Boeing’s largest-ever passenger jet, carrying about 467 passengers, fewer than the usual 525 on the Airbus A380.
Dot # 2:
In its industry consensus forecast IATA projected there will be 3.3 billion air travelers by 2014 — 800 million more than in 2009. China will be the biggest contributor of new travelers. Some 45% of all new airline passengers will travel on Asia-Pacific routes, mostly associated with China, the report said. International freight volumes are expected to grow at a rate of 8.2% during the forecast period to 38 million tons from 26 million in 2009.

Right off DeltaNet. Hope management can see the way to reading there own stuff and connect the dots. Look out for the China JV agreements.
