From DFW to anywhere will be a tough commute. There are lots of AA guys who have been displaced to NYC/MIA/ORD and will be competing for the jumpseat with you.

Check passrider.com for a list of available flights from A to B and you can get an idea of what you have to work with. DFW-ORD has lots of options. DFW-LGA might be the second easiest.

Also keep in mind if you ride on AA in the back of the plane you will pay roughly $12-15 non-rev fee per leg when going somewhere. It can add up quickly if you take AA to/from work each week. If you are lucky enough to actually sit in the AA jumpseat then there is no charge. Flying on other airlines is free.
