Dude - I hate to be blunt, but search/read information that has been asked a billion times on the internet. Every question you have can be answered by just a little google.
Pilot slots aren't just given out by going down and talking to a recruiter... getting a slot is like running a marathon no matter which road you take: ROTC, OTS, ANG/USAFR, etc ... no one will hold your hand through the process.
