I didn't realize that you guys had to be so close to the Blue Devils! I knew it was close, but not THAT close. I read the council email tonight and they say that it's not a 'loss of flying' since we're still flying the planes (albeit out of CAL pilot domicles). My concern is what will happen once we actually integrate. I've seen fences/bidding restrictions around hubs before, but that won't work in this case.
Did you hear we're changing hotels in LHR? F*ckers.
Dook? I'd buy Glenn Tilton a beer before mike krzyzewski. How's that for love? Regarding the LHR Whitehouse move, whining wins.
The only near term benefit I can see from 777 and 767 flying shifted to sewark is a possible greater frequency of flying at Dulles. Possibly, the scenario of 2 757's subbing for a 777 would continue. This might generate more bids at Dulles and break the stagnation. The only problem is in dealing with the long term need of widebody flying. Then it's either commute or else.
