Shipping pets is not a cheap endeavor. Now, you could ask the questions why the person just didn't carry the cat on board.
Just to keep the record straight, the cat was shipped from the breeder to the owner. They were not traveling with the cat. One of the comments the owner made was that for the cost of shipping the cat, she could have bought a round trip ticket and carried the cat.
