I don't get it, what is your point posting info on AA pilot negotiations??? Meaningless in my opinion.

As I see it....

*** We are not a pax carrier and have different issues
*** We work for a company that is profitable
*** This TA is "Hybrid" extension to an existing contract

Ask yourself this...what is in the TA that you can NOT live without? I hope that a 3% bump is not your answer. If this absolute minimum TA passes, it will be 5 years before all the other non-financial issues get addressed. LET'S ADDRESS 4A2b, reserve system, deviation, etc to acceptable terms now, not later.

APA has been taking an uncompromising stand for almost 5 years.

Why aren't they in mediation? What makes anyone on this forum think we will get there any sooner?

Take some time to read this one but it sounds like the APA leadership might be learning some negotiating lessons from FedEx

Times have changed, and fortunately our union is on top of what is happening in the industry and adjusting their strategy accordingly.
