So we are a global leader in the industry and pandering to the noble HVC about our awesome service and reliablilty, but for our own pilots if our airline fails us, twice on the same day, more than three times in a 20-30-40 year career, we are called out on it?
That entire preface needs to go, period. The rest of the details are good but rest assured if we don't fix that venomous preface as soon as the ever changing winds of labor relations change, it will basically be worthless.
I did not find the preface venomous personally. I read it as setting the boundaries, taking into account the 1% who may find some way to take advantage, IOW it was reasonable. If setting the ground rules to establish a level of trust is venomous, okay, but it did not read to me like the new policy would go away if one pilot had it happen 5 times.
