The only reason we go to KVCT is because Ron Paul lives there. So many of these EAS routes are for congressmen to say look what I've done.
Not to get political, but I'm pretty sure Ron Paul is against EAS routes as a waste of government money.
Now, John Murtha and friends (JST and AOO) is a different story.
