As of right now, there are 23 CFJ FO's senior to me bidding for a CR7 FO slot in DTW. There are only a few existing CR7 FO's bidding for it. I think the issue is going to be with the most junior existing CR7 FO's, because I think they follow the airplane, or the new hires, not the existing CRJ FO's.
With only 2 CR7 FO's bidding up to DTW, that leaves the remaining bottom 24 guys on the 700 as displacment fodder. They don't "follow the airplane" but have the option of setting their secondary seat preferences for their standing bid list's allowing them to displace more junior FO's on the 50 in both ATL and IAD if they so choose. Per sect 24 once you are displaced from your seat, you can displace anyone junior to you within domicile on other equipment. The guys that have no real say are the bottom of the senority list regardless of current seat/base.
