Sad, but true not only for ALK, but all other major airlines that have been around for 30+ years.
If the 70-year-old Feeble Phoebe can't open the door and help the PAX out in an emergency, then she should just retire.
I think they should actually retire when they hit 40 years of age. They used to have to retire when they turned 30 many many years ago. I figure 40 is the new 30.
