That's what I thought but wanted to make sure before I worked for "free". I agree with your idea about the reserve gs trigger. It would be one of many things to brings reserves up to real pilot status.
The difference is that reserves get a payback day. Regular line holders do not. If we dropped the payback day then the company might go for double pay. Many reserves however would hate that since it would mean the end rolling thunder and result in a reserve being exposed to work more days in a month.
