I was forced out of aviation a few years after 9-11 and can report that my personal life has greatly improved since. Most of what I had hoped to attain as a pilot I have achieved through other means. In many areas my life is much better than I had ever hoped for as a pilot. I still miss the dream though. It is too bad things had to fall apart as they have.
