To be fair, what you heard and repeated here was not wrong per se...there was a time when it was true. It is just not the reality of the "new" Brazil. \
A little sensitive, perhaps? Actually, UCLA did use the word "heard". He used it twice, in fact. I "heard" the same thing in China as well from Brazilian pilots - quite recently. I don't know what the truth is. Perhaps when employment is available to me over there I'll be able to find out. Right now, thankfully, I'm happily and gainfully employed elsewhere.
