I went to CWU for 1 semester 14 years ago, then joined the Navy. I am currently furloughed from United Airlines but, flying for Virgin America...lucky to have a job right now. Anyways, take my advice man.....do not under any circumstance get a degree in Aviation. At some point in your career you will get furlough (or lose your medical) and an aviation degree will get you nothing. You need to have something to fall back on.....teaching, engineering...something. I can also tell you that their is no advantage to go to schools like UND, ERAU, or CWU.....it will only cost you more money. My advice is get a degree in something you could see yourself doing if you couldnt fly (lots of people lose their medicals) and get your flight ratings on the side. Hope that helps.
