Why doesn't Atlas come up with a contract making it THE airline everyone wants to fly for. Then, you don't have to worry about those pesky pilots leaving for greener pastures. Supply vs. Demand (I do agree, pretty classless not to call the company to notify them you quit).

Couldn't agree more. FedEx also requires turning in your seniority number but they offer substantially more $$ over a career. Not knocking Atlas, just being honest.
I still wonder if it is even legal for an employer to require you to resign a past seniority number. Not defending any of the bad behavior mentioned above, just think there should be a limit on what can be dictated in an employment contract.
Doesn't change much for me, I'd still like to interview and then make an educated decision. It's just now it is a bigger/harder decision now.
