You're darn right we want improvements to retirement! Increase the B Fund and take away the penalty of retiring before age 60 but with 25 years of service. After 25 years of service, no matter what your age, you should be able to retire penalty free!
I agreed with you before, and I'll agree with you again!
I say this in every Wilson Poll, every time I talk to my block rep (Which is often), and to anyone who will listen to me (Which isn't often). I know our negotiators are some fine guys, and really work hard, but I challenge the tactic of keeping Retirement as it is, instead of improving it. An increase to the B Fund and taking away the A Fund penalty if you retire prior to age 60 despite 25 years of service would be a good start.
